Jason Campbell, QB (Washington Redskins)

Campbell suffered an injury last year. But, this year, he has brand new targets. A speedster (Devin Thomas) a big target (Malcolm Kelly) and a possession receiver (TE Fred Davis) Even though Clinton Portis is the main show in Washington, Campbell could produce good numbers as a sleeper.

Trent Edwards, QB (Buffalo Bills)

Dick Jauron has named the second-year QB the starter going into Bills’ mini-camp. Edwards should be able to produce solid numbers as a free agent pick-up. He should only be used as a last resort, however. But, with the addition of James Hardy, he should be able to get you a dozen points every time you start him.

DeAngelo Williams, RB (Carolina Panthers)

Williams was the 32nd overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft, but the past two years, he has split carries with DeShaun Foster. Foster was released, thus resulting in Williams becoming the main back. Despite the drafting of RB Jonathon Stewart, Williams should be a 1,000 yard RB this season.

Kevin Smith, RB (Detroit Lions)

In college, Smith fell just under 100 yards short of breaking Barry Sanders’ single-season rushing yards record. Barry Sanders also played his entire career in Detroit. Maybe it’s a coincidence. But, what’s not is a coincidence is that the Lions traded up to take him with the first pick of the 3rd Round. The Lions were terrible running the ball last year, so Kevin Smith, if he starts. Is a great fantasy sleeper option.

Roddy White, WR (Atlanta Falcons)

White could have been great last year if he had a consistent quarterback. Last year, he had 1202 yards receiving and eight TDs. But, since the line was upgraded, and Matt Ryan was drafted. White should have a 1400 yard, 12 TD season. He is a great 5th-6th round option in a ten team fantasy league.

DeSean Jackson, WR (Philadelphia Eagles)

DeSean Jackson is a speedy playmaker who will fit well in the Philly system. Especially because Donovan McNabb really didn’t have a legit #1 WR. DeSean Jackson is always a home-run threat when he has the ball in his hands. Really a good #2 or #3 option in your fantasy WR corps.

Dustin Keller, TE (New York Jets)

Dustin Keller was the #1 ranked tight end by Scouts, Inc. coming out of college this year. He was taken 30th overall by the Jets. He isn’t a bad sleeper option either. Because the passing attack in New York doesn’t have much oomph to it.

Oakland Raiders Defense

Not your first option at defense of course, but they vastly improved on defense this year. If you’ve filled all your offensive positions out. And if there’s nobody like San Diego or Minnesota on the board. Consider Oakland.
