Football Triumphs Over Rugby

This is a bit late, but, it’s exciting. Rugby players always talk a bunch of s*** about how football is a ‘p****’ sport. I get into arguments all the time with my dad – a former rugby player – about which is harder: rugby or football.
And the Sunday before last, our debate was answered. A show on FSN called ‘Sports Science’ had an episode called ‘Gear Factor’ and it covered how gear affected sports. Questions like which hurts more: a cricket pitch or a baseball pitch? Who’s arm moves faster: a baseball pitcher or an NFL QB? And of course, which hurts more: a rugby (wussy) tackle or a football (manly) tackle? Football won.
A huge rugby center (like 6′3 230 lbs) tackled another rugby player who had equipment attached to him. The force was 1,600 Lbs of force. Then an NFL CB, Quentin Jammer (215 lbs) tackled a crash-test dummy that had sensors in it. He recorded a whopping 4,576 Lbs of force!!! They said it’s equivalent to a ‘35 MPH car crash’
So, in conclusion, rugby players don’t hit as hard as football players.
Who’s the p**** now you rugby players?
